Well I spent 8 hours engrossed in the most awesome book I've ever read. Click on the title for a preview. I couldn't put it down. It will change your life, I can guarantee. And I don't dare give any of it away. You just have to go there, to the shack.
It is very cold here. With the wind it is below 20 degrees. BUT..... sunny! I can live with the cold if it is sunny. I have a week to myself, and my goal is to get busy with a couple of things I would like to do to start a home business. Wish me well, and pray if you like. I wouldn't mind, at all! I'll keep you posted. Enjoy the rays. I'm sure they will be short lived, but at least we can get a little Vitamin D back in to our blood. C U you soon.

This Month I am Studying....
We are in trying times these days! And they may be these "last" days for all we know. I was encouraged as I read Isaiah 30 this morning in that if we keep wanting to return to Egypt, which is symbolic of all this world and it's comforts, then the blessing of the Lord will not follow. We must always look to Him for guidance. And John 16:33 reminds us our peace and confidence are found in Him, with Whom we will spend eternity. This short life is nothing compared to the glory we will enjoy forever.
It can be difficult to keep our focus when our world starts spinning. I'm so glad He gave us His word and His Spirit to rise above this all. Hold on to Him when things start shaking up! He won't let go of you!!!!

- End Of The Spear, story of Elliot missionaries. Very good!
- Journey Toward Creation.....a history of the beginning of time....viewed through scientists and others. Very interesting.
- Facing The Giants, is a must see . If you like football you'll like this one. Very encouraging and uplifting.
- I'm sure everyone has seen "The Incredibles" but I saw it for the first time last weekend. Very cute family animation!
- Janeatte Oke series..great as chick flicks or family movie. I found 4 at Netflix: Love Comes Softly, Loves Enduring Promise, Love's Abiding Joy and you'll have to guess the last one:~)
